So go to your local dance studio and sign up for a class and take some lessons. You don’t have to spend a lot of money unless this is something you want to take seriously.
What I suggest is taking a few lessons and then going out a couple of times of month and going dancing. This can be a great way to not only do something for yourself but also have fun and lose weight. Be careful not to drink too much alcohol or eat the high calorie foods while out dancing as this will defeat the purpose to begin with.

In order for you to make your waistline smaller than it is now you are going to have to face the facts. There are a lot of myths about what you can do to lose your stomach but the fact is that most of what you have heard isn’t the truth and isn’t working for you. Doing crunches all day long until you can’t breathe isn’t going to make your little muffin top go away. I don’t care how sore your muscles are in the morning the fat is still going to be there.
Machines like this have people thinking that they are going to achieve a smaller waist simply by getting on it and working out. This is not going to help you achieve the waist you are looking for, it will however take your money and find a new reason to buy the new upgraded version.
These crazy belts that zap your muscles like you are some animal is not the way to go either. The one thing that electronic devices are going to make smaller is the money available on your credit card as you spend more and more money for the next great tech device that does nothing but give you false hope. Don’t waste your money on these infomercials claiming you can set in front of television and do nothing and have great abs and a smaller waist. Complete waste of time and your money.
So You Really Want to Drop a Few Waist Sizes
If you have made it this far then I probably didn’t scare you away with the myths out there and you are probably one of the few who will actually listen and achieve your goal. There is no secret to getting a smaller waist and it is so simple that is difficult for many to understand. It basically comes down to what you do in the kitchen and how you work your body.
Diet and Exercise are the Key To Success
What you do in the kitchen is going to have one of the biggest effects on your waist being smaller in 2 weeks than it is now. Yeah you have heard this before and believe me if I had a machine to sell you to help you lose pounds around your waist I would but there is none I already check and nothing works. One of the keys to your diet is eating out less and cooking at home more. If you are hungry drink water and eat food that you have already packed. No there are no special foods that you need to eat just certain things you may need to stay away from. Foods like high calorie snacks, nuts, canned foods, and sodas. Most of these contain high amounts of sodium, fat, and the worst of all calories.
Exercise is exercise, right? Wrong sure you can exercise all day every day of the week and I bet you still may not lose weight. In fact I know some women who work out and actually gain weight during the week and believe me they didn’t put on 2-4 pounds of muscle like their trainer told them. You have to make sure you are doing interval and weight training. Spending five hours on the treadmill sweating like a cow is not going to cut it. You have to get your metabolism up so that your body will increase the amounts of HGH you make to help burn fat.
There are NO BELLY SPECIFIC FAT EXERCISES
You waist is not going to get smaller simply because you are doing exercises that are related to that area. Doing these exercises will help you tighten up your waist and give you that great look once you have lost the pounds but until then you are just spinning your wheels for nothing. If you follow these tips and advice you will be on your way to achieving a smaller waist in just a few short weeks. Remember there are no magic pills to get a smaller waist just hard work, patience and commitment on your part.

So recently I was asked to tell someone how to lose 20 pounds in 2 weeks? My response was, “Wow are you serious!!” She then said that she was going to her class reunion and wanted to have a body like Stacy Keibler so that everyone would be jealous. Losing 2-3 pounds per week is hard enough as it is but possible. But when you are talking about 20 pounds in under a few months it’s almost impossible. The most memorable that I can remember was Beyonce who stated that she lost more than 20 pounds using the Master Cleanse diet which is supposed to be some type of detox. It is also called the maple syrup or lemon juice diet. But on this diet all you are doing is drinking 6-12 glasses of water mixed with juice, maple syrup and cayenne pepper for 2 to 3 weeks. The problem with this however is that you will quickly gain the weight back after the diet is over and you start eating again.

Go On A Detox Based Diet
I know I just said that Beyonce gained all of her weight back but remember you are asking for a miracle here so we need all the help we can get. What I would suggest is going on the detox, but only drink fluids for 2-3 . Instead of not eating at all on those days have a single meal at dinner time of about 500-800 calories. This will give you the much needed energy while at the same time cutting out the calories you need to lose weight. Think of this as fasting 2-3 days per week where you eat just one meal on those days.
Here is Beyonce before and after her detox. You can clearly she how thin she is with the 20lb weight loss and it is stated that as soon as she stopped the detox the weight came right back. So detox may work in the short run but it is no permanent solution.
High Intensity Interval Training
Time to cut out the boring old steady state cardio and get your butt moving if you want to shed that 20 pounds. The only way you are going to consistently burn enough calories is if you do interval training. Now this can be done on the treadmill, elliptical workout or even by sprinting outside. The key is to make sure that you are giving your all doing the high intensity period and resting enough on the rest stage. Make sure when you are suppose to break you actually take a break.
Eating Properly To Lose 20lbs
When I say eating properly I am not talking about changing your diet but you are going to have to eat fewer calories. If this means throwing out all of the junk food in your house then do so. Remember that if you are 5 feet tall there is no way you should be eating anywhere near that amount of calories as someone who is 5 feet 5 inches. You need to cut your calories so if you where eating 2500 calories per day you need to drop it to 1600-1800. I know is seems like a lot but you are asking for a lot in trying to losing that much weight that fast.
Stay away from Empty Calories
You have heard this one before you have to stay away from sodas and alcohol, its just that simple. Eating is not the only way to get in unwanted calories and it definitely not the fastest way either. More people consume calories from fluids faster than anything else. Just think how quickly you can drink a beer or a can of cola. Most of the sports drinks are about 300 calories per container and are usually gone before you know it. The plan for these two weeks will be to consume water and only water!
Losing 20lbs in 2 Weeks Isn’t Easy
I wouldn’t suggest that anyone try to lose 20lbs in two weeks as this isn’t easy and certainly not really healthy. What I wanted to do is simply see if I could put something together that could possible achieve this goal. Losing that much weight in that short period of time would really also depend on how much you are overweight. If you are someone who only has about 20 pounds to lose versus someone who is 100 pounds than the person who is 100lbs overweight would have an easier time.
